| Recordings of the new Cello & Viola concertos have just been made by Chandos, with soloists Josephine Knight & Philip Dukes accompanied by the City of London Sinfonia. A new version of Merciless Beauty will added to these in December, sung by Sarah Connolly and the disc is scheduled for release next May. Burgon is currently writing a piece for Alto Saxophone and Wind Band, this will be premiered at Marlborough College, also in May. Dave Loew has just recorded a suite that Burgon made for cello and ensemble of his music for the TV series Island at War, this will be released shortly. |

| Chandos records have just recorded Burgon's new Viola & Cello Concerti, with Philip Dukes & Josephine Knight as soloists, with The City of London Sinfonia conducted by Rumon Gamba. Srah Connolly will shortly be recording Merciless Beauty to complete the album, which is scheduled for release next May. Burgon is currently writing a piece for Saxophone and Wind band, which will also be premiered in May, at Marlborough College. Dave Loew has just recorded a suite that Burgon arranged for solo cello and ensemble of his music from the TV series 'Island at War', this will be released shortly. |
